Tomato Festival
May 4-6
The 61st Annual Tomato Festival will be held on the grounds of Our Lady of Prompt Succor School on Friday, May 4th, 6:00 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, May 5th, 11:30 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday, May 6th, 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Entertainment includes: Friday, At Fault @ 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, Kayla Woodson @ 5:00 p.m. and Kyle Turley @8:30 p.m.; Sunday, Hit & Run @ 4:30 p.m. and Cotton Mouth @ 8:00 p.m. Celebrate a local delicacy with live music, food, and games.

Nunez Community College History Lecture Series
May 7
Nunez Community College will sponsor a history lecture on the first Monday of the month in the college auditorium. There will be wine and cheese served at 6:30 p.m. with the lecture beginning at 7:00. The lectures are free and open to the public. The lecture on May 7th will be given by Ms. Claudia Kheel on "Art Traditions of St. Bernard and Southern Louisiana".

Art & Wine Walk

There will be an Art & Wine Walk on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Aycock Barn in Arabi. There will be a kick off event for the top 20 restaurents at the event.

Community Outreach Fair
May 25
Join us on Friday, May 25th from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Docville Farm for a Memorial Day Community Outreach Fair. Participating agencies will be passing out information helpful to the community. There will be a shrimp boil and live music by We3 and the Miss Maggie Havens Band. Admission is free.
