History Lecture Series - Nunez Community College

The History Lecture Series will present James Bernazzani, former FBI Special Agent, who is president of the Youth Rescue Initiative as a guest speaker. At 6:30 p.m. there will be a wine and cheese reception in the auditorium and the lecture will begin at 7:00. This is free and open to the public.

Art in April Festival

The 14th Annual Art in April Festival will be held in Torres Park, Chalmette, LA on Friday, April 16th kicking off with a live public concert with sounds by the Swingaroux Big Band from 7 pm - 9:30 pm. on Saturday, April 17th the Festival will open at 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. in Torres Park, featuring fine arts, crafts, school art show, local food, live music and the children's pavillion with story telling, puppet shows and hands on arts an crafts for the kids. Free and open to the public.
