“WORLD’S LARGEST BRICK” TO VISIT ST. BERNARD PARISH

Acme Brick Company is committed to help with the rebuilding efforts of St. Bernard Parish and is symbolically bringing the “World’s Largest Brick” to St. Bernard since Hurricane Katrina devastated 27,000 homes and businesses in the Hurricane that was deemed the Nation’s most catastrophic storm.  The World’s Largest Brick, “Baby Clay.” can be viewed at the Chalmette Battlefield in St. Bernard Parish on November 5th, 2007.  The public is invited along with St. Bernard residents, schools and businesses to view him from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

“Baby Clay”, The World’s Biggest Brick as confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records weighs in at over 6,000 pounds and is 116 inches long.  That’s one inch for every year that Acme has been in business.  “Baby Clay” is also 39 inches tall and 39 inches wide.  He is the culmination of over 3 years work by Acme’s Denton, Texas Plant.
